Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. This describes what the site actually does, not what a template says.

Who we are
TRY is a small apparel brand selling at try.alwaystrybe.com. When this policy says “we”, that is who it means.
What we collect, and when
- When you buy Your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, and what you ordered.
- When you message us Your name, email address and the message you write.
- When you share a story The name you choose to give, your email address, your story, and your answers about whether you want a reply and whether we may share it.
- When you browse Anonymous usage data through Google Analytics: pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, what device you used.
Your card details never reach us
Payments are handled by Square. Your card number goes from your browser straight to Square and is never sent to us or stored on our servers. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last few digits, and nothing more.
Why we collect it
- To send you what you ordered. We cannot ship a parcel without a name and an address.
- To answer you. If you write to us, we need your email address to write back.
- To understand what is and isn't working on the site — which pages people read, where they leave. This is counted in aggregate; we are not watching individuals.
Who else sees it
- Square processes payments and holds order records.
- Google Analytics receives anonymous usage data.
- Google receives our product catalogue — names, prices, photos and stock levels. No customer data is in that feed.
- Gmail carries the messages you send through the site, because that is how they reach us.
- Railway hosts the website.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Stories you share with us
A story you submit stays private unless you explicitly give us permission to share it. If you do give permission, we ask separately how you would like to be identified — by name, by first name only, or anonymously — and we follow that. You can change your mind at any time by writing to us.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to tell a returning visitor from a new one. Your cart is kept in your browser while you shop. That is all. There are no advertising cookies on this site today. If that changes, this page changes with it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The store will still work.
How long we keep things
Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and tax, which in the United States is generally seven years. Messages and stories are kept until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you ask us to delete everything, we may still have to keep the record of a completed order for tax purposes, and we will tell you if that applies.
Contact usChildren
This store is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not quietly start doing something this page says we do not do.
